Job summary

Innovation Learning in Peoria, AZ is seeking a Resilience Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. This part-time role operates at a school-based program site, with after-school hours 3PM-5PM (M,T,Th,F) and 12PM-3PM on Wednesdays.

You will mentor students, lead enrichment activities, support homework, and help develop social-emotional skills while ensuring safety and positive behavior. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with children in schools, childcare programs, camps, recreation programs, or youth organizations preferred.
• Must meet one of the following: 6 months experience/12 college credits; Associate's/Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education; NAC/CDA/CCP credential.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, patience, and a passion for youth development.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Location: School-Based Program Site

Candeo Peoria School in Peoria, AZ

Reports To: Head Coach/Site Leadership

Schedule: Part-Time (Before & After School Programs, School Breaks, and Summer Programs)

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 3PM-5PM

Wednesday: 12PM-3PM

We are looking for candidates who are available to work the full schedule as listed. We cannot accommodate partial shifts at this time.

Pay: $16-21/hour, based on experience and region

Position Overview

• Positive attitude, patience, and a genuine passion for youth development.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to actively participate in indoor and outdoor activities.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout program hours.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally.
