Job summary

Innovation Learning Inc. is hiring a Resilience Coach for the 2026-2027 school year at Candeo Peoria School in Peoria, AZ. This is a school-based program site where you can make a difference in students' lives.

The position is part-time, with a schedule of Monday-Thursday 2:45PM-5PM and Fridays 12PM-5PM. You will mentor students, lead enrichment and homework support, and help develop social-emotional and leadership skills while ensuring safety and well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with children in schools, childcare programs, camps, recreation programs, or youth organizations preferred.
• Must meet one of the following requirements: (1) 6 months experience or 12 college credits (2) Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or (3) NAC, CDA or CCP Credential
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, patience, and a genuine passion for youth development.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with students and create a welcoming environment.
• Serve as a role model by promoting respect, responsibility, and resilience.
• Support students through positive behavior guidance and conflict resolution.
• Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.
• Lead engaging enrichment, recreation, and team-building activities.
• Facilitate homework help and academic support sessions.
• Participate in games, fitness activities, and outdoor play.
• Help students develop social-emotional and leadership skills.
• Assist with daily program setup and cleanup.
• Support student check-in, attendance, and dismissal procedures.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and positive learning environment.
• Follow all company policies, licensing requirements, and safety procedures.

Education

6 months experience or 12 college credits

Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education

NAC, CDA or CCP Credential

Tools

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
