Job summary

Innovation Learning Inc. is seeking a Resilience Coach to support school-age children in after-school programs across Aurora-area school sites. This hands-on role combines mentorship, enrichment, recreation, and academic support to help students build confidence and life skills.

You will lead engaging activities, provide homework help, and promote respect, resilience while ensuring a safe, organized learning environment. Evening shifts, five days a week, are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with children in schools, childcare programs, camps, recreation programs, or youth organizations preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, patience, and a genuine passion for youth development.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.

Dartmouth Elementary: Monday-Friday: 6:30AM-7:40AM and 2:40PM-6:00PM

Harmony Ridge Elementary: Monday-Friday: 6:30AM-7:40AM and 2:30PM-6:00PM

Laredo Elementary: Monday-Friday: 6:30AM-7:55AM and 2:30PM-6:00PM

Side Creek Elementary: Monday-Friday: 6:25AM-7:40AM and 2:30PM-6:00PM

Tollgate Elementary: Monday-Friday: 6:30AM-7:45AM and 2:30PM-6:00PM

Vista Peak Elementary: Monday-Friday: 6:30AM-7:30AM and 2:30PM-6:00PM

We are looking for candidates who are available to work all five days week for a full shift, whether it is in the morning or afternoon. We cannot accommodate partial shifts at this time.

Reports To: Head Coach/Site Leadership

Pay: $20-24/hour, based on experience and region

Key Responsibilities

Student Engagement & Support

• Build positive relationships with students and create a welcoming environment.

• Ensure student safety and well‑being at all times.

Program Delivery

Program Operations

• Assist with daily program setup and cleanup.
• Support student check‑in, attendance, and dismissal procedures.

• Follow all company policies, licensing requirements, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with children in schools, childcare programs, camps, recreation programs, or youth organizations preferred.

State Specific Requirements

Candidates must be 18 years old and meet ONE of the following:

• 3 months/455 hours of verified work experience in the care/supervision of 4 or more children
• Completion of a current Early Childhood Professional Credential of Level 1 of higher

Physical Requirements

• Ability to actively participate in indoor and outdoor activities.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout program hours.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally.
