Job summary

Right At School in Farmington, IL is seeking a Program Manager to lead a team of Educators and oversee daily after-school operations, ensuring safety, licensing compliance, and strong family partnerships.

Qualifications

• Experience managing competing priorities while delivering quality service to staff, families, and school partners.
• Experience working with children, including those with unique or special needs.
• Coursework or training in child development or a related field (preferred).
• Strong oral, written, and visual communication skills with both adults and children.
• Comfortable modeling professional standards around students, parents, staff, and community members.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace or willingness to learn. At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Educators, providing coaching, feedback, and day-to-day guidance
• Keep site documentation, licensing standards, and safety and attendance protocols up to date and compliant with state and company standards
• Oversee daily check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accurate 'name to face' attendance records
• Communicate regularly with families, school partners, and your Area Manager, responding promptly to emails, calls, and inquiries during program hours
• Plan and oversee daily enrichment curriculum, movement, team games, and independent activity stations delivered by your team
• Address and resolve day-to-day issues or conflicts among staff, students, or families
• Monitor the program environment for safety, addressing hazards and ensuring safety protocols are followed
• Report incidents, injuries, or safety concerns promptly and maintain accurate documentation
