Job summary

Right At School is seeking a Program Manager in Cleveland, OH to lead after-school programs across district sites. You will oversee program operations, coordinate staff, and ensure safety and licensing compliance while delivering engaging activities for students.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience with children, and the ability to manage competing priorities. The role offers split-shift hours with a pay rate based on education and experience.

Qualifications

• Experience balancing competing priorities and delivering quality service to stakeholders.
• Experience with children and knowledge of special needs.
• Coursework or training in child development/early childhood education.
• Ability to pass required background checks and meet DCY requirements.

Responsibilities

• Model safety and joy; coach staff; maintain site documents and licensing standards.
• Ensure attendance protocols and licensing compliance, update procedures as needed.
• Communicate effectively with families, partners, and staff; respond to inquiries during program hours.
• Maintain accurate student check-in/out records and support daily routines.
• Deliver daily activities, fitness, and curriculum in a safe, engaging environment.
