Job summary

Right At School is seeking a Program Manager to lead before/after school programs in Michigan. You will oversee daily operations, ensure safety and engaging activities, and coach staff toward high-quality student experiences.

The role requires coordination of schedules, compliance with licensing, and strong communication with families and schools. Compensation aligns with part-time scheduling and program needs.

Qualifications

• Experience managing competing priorities and delivering quality service to stakeholders.
• High school diploma or GED completed.
• Experience working with children and knowledge of special needs.
• Coursework or training in child development or related field.
• Strong communication skills with adults and children.
• Ability to model professional standards with students, parents, staff, and community.
• Familiarity with Google tools or willingness to learn.
• Proof of MMR submitted.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Joy: model safety and joy standards, keep site documents up to date, outline attendance and policies.
• Safety Assurance: support and report on safety protocols for participant wellbeing.
• Effective Communication: engage families, clients, peers, and children; respond promptly to inquiries.
• Documentation and Compliance: maintain student check-in/out records; follow attendance procedures.
• Daily Routine: implement daily activities, fitness, and curriculum for a safe, engaging environment.
