Job summary

Arc Experience is seeking a Program Leader for after-school programs in Southern California. You will guide students through social-emotional learning, homework help, enrichment activities, and new adventures each day, supporting a positive and engaging learning environment.

This part-time, non-exempt role reports to the Site Coordinator. Strong communication and bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus, with opportunities to contribute to clubs and activities across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in after-school programs or youth recreation.
• Able to communicate with kids and parents comfortably.
• 48+ college credits completed or pass an academic proficiency exam.
• TB test with negative result and Live Scan background check.
• English-Spanish bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome kids at the end of their school day.
• Organize and lead activities, including homework help and enrichment.
• Join in indoor and outdoor enrichment activities.
• Create clubs for students (career readiness, cooking, anime, dance).
• Maintain a secure environment by following safety protocols and supervising group dynamics.
• Oversee safety and well-being of students during activities.
• Encourage participation and adapt activities for diverse needs.
