Arc Experience is seeking a Program Leader to guide students in after-school programs across Southern California. You will lead activities, provide homework help, and run engaging enrichment projects that spark confidence and curiosity.

The role emphasizes strong communication with kids and families, safe supervision, and the ability to adapt activities for a diverse student body. This is a part-time, non-exempt position at site locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in after-school programs or youth recreation, especially in ethnically and culturally diverse communities.
• Strong communication with kids and parents.
• College transcripts showing 48+ college credit units or ability to pass a proficiency exam.
• TB test with negative result and successful Live Scan background check.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus to stand out.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome kids at the end of the school day.
• Organize and lead activities including homework help, games, arts and crafts, and educational projects.
• Lead indoor and outdoor enrichment activities.
• Create unique clubs for students (e.g., career readiness, cooking, anime, dance).
• Maintain a secure environment by following safety protocols and managing group dynamics.
• Oversee safety and well-being during after-school activities and adapt activities to diverse needs.
