Job summary

Arc Experience is seeking a Program Leader for after-school programs in Southern California. This part-time, non-exempt role guides students through social-emotional learning, homework support, enrichment activities, and clubs, delivering engaging, safe experiences after school.

You will greet students, organize activities, monitor behavior, and support families. English-Spanish bilingual is a plus; strong communication is essential for success in this community-focused role.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in after-school programs or youth recreation.
• Good communicator and able to talk to both kids and parents comfortably.
• Provide 48+ college credits transcripts or pass proficiency exam.
• TB test and negative result; Live Scan background check.
• English-Spanish bilingual is a plus; Covid-19 vaccination documentation if required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome kids at the start of the program.
• Organize and lead activities including homework help, enrichment activities, and clubs.
• Maintain a secure, safe environment by following safety protocols and supervising groups.
• Monitor student behavior and adapt activities to diverse needs.
• Report to Site Coordinator and collaborate with families.
