Job summary

Right At School in Kentucky seeks a Program Manager to lead before and after school programs across district sites. You will oversee daily operations, safety, staff coaching, and program quality to deliver engaging learning experiences for children.

The role requires strong multitasking, communication with families and schools, and ensuring licensing and documentation compliance. Monday-Friday hours with base location at one site and travel to district schools as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience balancing competing priorities while delivering quality service.
• Experience working with children and knowledge of special needs.
• Coursework or training in child development or related field.
• Strong oral, written and visual communication with adults and children.
• Ability to model professional standards with students, parents, staff, and community.
• Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn.
• Proof of MMR submitted as part of hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and joy by modeling staff responsibilities and keeping site docs up to date.
• Support safety protocols and report on well-being of participants.
• Engage families and partners; respond promptly to inquiries during program hours.
• Coordinate documentation: attendance, check-ins/outs per policy.
• Implement daily activities, fitness, and curriculum in a safe, engaging environment.

Associate degree in child development/early childhood education (DCY approved)

Four college courses in Child Development or ECE + 2 years experience

CDA credential + 2 years experience

CPL 1 with experience + CPL2 target

Ohio school-age administrator endorsement
