Job summary

Read Better Be Better is seeking an After-School Literacy Program Coach to support students in the Union School District in Phoenix, Arizona. This part-time role involves delivering literacy activities, supervising up to 32 students, and coordinating with school staff.

The position requires reliability, strong communication, and a passion for helping children develop reading and leadership skills. Work hours are 5-10 hours per week during the school year; training will be provided including

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills including email and attendance software.
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required or reimbursed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver after-school literacy activities.
• Take attendance and manage materials.
• Support up to 32 students across age groups.
• Coordinate with school staff to optimize student experience.
• Attend trainings and meetings as scheduled.
