Job summary

Mentoring Alliance is seeking ministry-minded individuals for our After School team to guide elementary students in enrichment activities after school hours. This part-time, non-exempt role emphasizes excellence, wholehearted service, and developing kids to reach their full potential.

Ideal candidates are at least 17, with a HS diploma or GED preferred, and a heart for ministry. CPR/First Aid certification and background checks are required; Spanish-speaking ability is valued.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old with high school diploma or GED preferred.
• Passion for working with elementary children and relevant experience preferred.
• Commitment to a Christian ministry mindset and role modeling.
• Available Monday through Friday 2:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m. during the school year.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Background/Sex offender check required.
• Valid driver’s license or valid ID and dependable transportation.
• Legal to work in the United States; Spanish-speaking ability valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead elementary students in enrichment activities after school.
• Serve as a positive role model and minister of the Gospel.
• Support a safe, engaging, faith-aligned after‑school environment.
