The Mentoring Alliance is seeking an After School Counselor to lead enrichment activities for elementary students in a faith-based after-school setting. This non-exempt, part-time role averages 17-20 hours per week and requires CPR/First Aid certification and a background check.

The candidate should be 17+, with a HS diploma or GED preferred, and Spanish-speaking ability is highly valued. Responsibilities include fostering youth development, representing the ministry, and serving as a dependable

Qualifications

• Must align with Mentoring Alliance faith statement and values.
• At least 17 years old; HS diploma or GED preferred; some post-secondary training preferred.
• Passion for working with elementary children; prior experience preferred.
• Must be available Monday–Friday 2:00 pm–6:00 pm during school year.
• CPR/First Aid certification required; background/Sex offender check must be passed.
• Valid ID and driver’s license; legally eligible to work in the United States; reliable transportation.
• Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued.
