Job summary

Nexplore is seeking a part-time instructor for in-person STEM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills and Fitness programs in the Los Angeles area. You will teach students in grades PreK-12, guided by provided training, lesson plans, curriculum, and materials.

Responsibilities include following the schedule, delivering engaging, standard-aligned instruction, and communicating professionally with the Program Success Manager and site staff.

Qualifications

• AA Degree (or higher) required.
• 2+ years teaching/instructing preferred.
• Experience working with children.
• Education/training experience is a plus.
• Teaching degree or certificate is a plus.
• Must commit to the full proposed schedule.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willing to complete mandatory training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, in-person instruction to PreK-12 students.
• Prepare with provided lesson plans, curriculum, and materials.
• Report to Program Success Manager.
• Follow schedule and review materials before instruction.
• Engage families through letters and showcases.
