Job summary

Nexplore is seeking a part-time Instructor to deliver in-person STEM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills, and Fitness instruction to PreK-12 students. You’ll use provided lesson plans, materials and training, and report to a Program Success Manager.

Hours are 3pm–4pm, Monday, Tuesday and Friday, with classes starting Sep 28. Expect to teach with strong communication, reliability and a passion for hands-on learning at Nexplore sites nationwide.

Qualifications

• Part-time position
• AA Degree (or higher)
• 2+ years teaching/instructing
• Experience working with children
• Educational (development or training) experience
• Teaching degree or certificate is a PLUS
• Must commit to the full proposed schedule
• Great communication and presentation skills
• Reliable transportation
• Willing to complete mandatory training

Responsibilities

• Deliver standard-aligned instruction in STEM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills and/or Fitness to PreK-12 students.
• Prepare for instruction using provided lesson plans, curriculum and materials.
• Teach in-person classes, review plans, and maintain site expectations.
• Engage families and communicate with the Program Success Manager and site staff.
• Deliver inspired instruction from Nexplore’s programs and accommodate extensions when needed.
