Job summary

Nexplore is seeking a part-time Instructor to deliver in-person STEM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills, and/or Fitness instruction to PreK-12 students. You will be supplied with training, lesson plans, curriculum, and materials and report to a Program Success Manager.

Must commit to the full proposed schedule and bring strong communication skills. Ideal candidates have an AA degree or higher and 2+ years of teaching or instructing experience, plus experience with children and a teaching credential

Qualifications

Part-time position
AA Degree (or higher)
2+ years teaching/instructing (preferred)
Experience working with children
Educational (development or training) experience
Teaching degree or certificate is a PLUS!
Must commit to the full proposed schedule
Great communication and presentation skills
Reliable transportation
Willing to complete mandatory training

Responsibilities

Consistency - Follow a provided schedule, arrive on time and prepared to teach and maintain compliance with site expectations.
Competence - Deliver standard-aligned instruction that fosters critical thinking and joy in learning; manage all materials.
Communication - Engage in professional, responsive communication with the Program Success Manager and site personnel.
Creativity - Deliver inspiring instruction from Nexplore’s programs, with accommodations as relevant.
Community - Participate in family engagement efforts and empower each child to engage in Nexplore programs.
