Job summary

Right At School is seeking part-time Educators to support after-school programs at Floresville Area Schools. You’ll lead activities, supervise students, and help with homework in a safe, structured environment.

This on-site role offers weekday afternoons with no weekends, paying $13–$15 per hour depending on education and experience, plus opportunities to gain real-world education experience and contribute to the local community. Minimum requirements apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 18+ years old.
• Six months of childcare experience in a licensed setting preferred; verification required.
• Live within the listed school district area.
• Fluent in English; bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in students at session start; take attendance and maintain records.
• Plan and lead daily activities and enrichment lessons suitable for the age group.
• Facilitate homework time and assist with academic tasks as needed.
• Supervise students during transitions, snack time, and free play, ensuring safety.
• Address minor conflicts with positive guidance; report incidents to supervisor.
