Job summary

Right At School is seeking an Educator to lead after-school activities at Floresville area schools. This part-time, on-call position offers a flexible schedule from 2:45 pm to 6:30 pm on weekdays, with full-day coverage on student holidays. You will foster a safe, engaging environment and help students thrive academically and socially.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of childcare experience, are 18+, and fluent in English. Benefits and staff perks are available at participating sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Six months of childcare experience in a licensed setting (verification required).
• Live within the listed school district area.
• Fluent in English; bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in students; take attendance and maintain records.
• Plan and lead daily activities, games, and enrichment lessons for the age group.
• Support with homework and academic tasks as needed.
• Supervise students during free play, snack time, and transitions.
• Address minor conflicts with positive guidance techniques.
• Communicate with parents/guardians at pick-up/drop-off.
• Report incidents, injuries, or safety concerns to the Program Manager or site lead; log reports.
• Set up and clean up space daily and attend daily team meetings.
