Job summary

Right At School in Rhode Island is seeking an Educator to inspire a love of learning and support schools. You will deliver the daily curriculum, organize materials, and help children grow academically and socially in our after-school programs.

The role features Monday–Friday split shifts (7:00 AM–8:30 AM; 3:15 PM–6:00 PM), up to 21.25 hours weekly, with pay $18.00–$21.00 per hour depending on education and experience.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience working with children under 13 years old.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and participate in physical activities with children.
• Ability to meet state requirements; CPR and Mandated Reporter training, TB test, etc.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Organize program materials for lessons and activities, and document attendance and incidents.
• Deliver dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academics and social development.
• Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to support safety, homework, and activity.
• Communicate clearly with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
• Meet regularly with the Program Manager regarding professional progress and team accountability.
