Right At School is seeking an on-call Educator in California to support after-school programs. The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and creating a safe, engaging environment for children up to 13 years old.

You will facilitate activities, ensure safety, and communicate with families and school staff. The ideal candidate enjoys helping kids learn, can lift 25 pounds, and is flexible to support local programs as needed.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age preferred.
• Ability to lift 25lbs.
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Daily Program Meetings: review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability.
• Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: prepare activities and curriculum aligned with program objectives; lead daily fitness and curriculum for all ages.
• Leading by Example: maintain a safe, nurturing environment and model positive guidance and classroom management.
• Prioritize Safety and Joy: monitor the environment, address hazards, follow safety protocols, document attendance and incidents.
• Communication: effectively communicate with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
