Job summary

Right At School is hiring a Part Time Educator in the Roseville District. You will support daily activities, prepare age-appropriate curriculum, and foster a safe, engaging environment for children aged up to 13.

This role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication with families, and adherence to safety protocols. The position requires 18+ with a high school diploma, 6 months+ childcare experience, and flexibility to work Monday–Friday afternoons.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• At least 6 months of experience working with children under 13 in a group setting (preferred).
• Two years of higher education (48 units) or AA degree or district assessment.
• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• College credits in early childhood education or related field (preferred).
• Bilingual in Spanish (preferred).
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Live Scan fingerprint and health/safety training required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily program meetings to review goals and progress.
• Organize and facilitate daily activities and curriculum.
• Lead by example with a safe, nurturing environment.
• Ensure safety and joy, document attendance and incidents.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
