Part Time Educator 2026/2027 School Year

Pay Range Educator: $20-22 /per hour (based on education and experience)

School year 2026/2027: Starts July 27th (hours may vary per site)

Location: Candidates should be open to any of the schools we partner with in the Roseville District. Please note we cannot guarantee preferred school assignments as our needs are based on the needs of the programs we serve.

You’ll drive the mission by:
  • Daily Program Meetings: Each day, review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability.
  • Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: Prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring they align with the program's objectives. Organize and lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum; that are both educational and enjoyable for all ages.
  • Leading by Example: Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring children are enjoying themselves while also meeting program goals. You will achieve this by modeling positive guidance and effective classroom management.
  • Prioritize Safety and Joy: Monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow all safety protocols. These may include documenting attendance, incidents, and other observations.
  • Communication: Effective communication with a varied audience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills. Works well in a team environment. At least 6 months of experience working with children under 13 years of age in a group setting (preferred). Complete two years of higher education study (48 units) or obtain an AA degree or higher or pass a formal District academic assessment test. Must be 18 years or older with a Highschool diploma or equivalent. College credits in early childhood education, child development, elementary education or a related field (preferred). Bilingual in Spanish (preferred). Ability to lift 25lbs. Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living. Ability to meet state-specific requirements: LIVE Scan fingerprint, FA/CPR, Mandated Reporter training, Health Certificate with Negative TB Test (from a physician).
