Job summary

ExpertCare is seeking reliable caregivers to work 1:1 with recipients in their homes across Southeast Michigan. You will support and encourage clients, helping with skill-building activities both at home and in community settings.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily tasks, promoting independence, and participating in outings to support personal goals. Full and part-time positions are available, with a focus on compassionate, patient care.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient and dependable personality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities.
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments.
• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 care with recipients in their homes.
• Support, encourage, and help with skill-building activities.
• Bring recipients into the community to foster goals outside the home.
• Maintain safety and dignity while delivering in-home care.
