Job summary

Communities In Schools of Southeast Harris and Brazoria County is seeking an Activity Coordinator for the after-school program. Under supervision, you will help plan, coordinate, and facilitate academic, enrichment, and recreational activities for students in a safe, structured environment.

Part-time role beginning the first week of August, 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM–6:30 PM. You will work directly with students to deliver engaging, hands-on experiences that support growth

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent ability to plan and implement age-appropriate activities.
• Experience working with children in a school-age setting preferred.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certifications required (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Foster a positive learning environment for children, parents, and staff.
• Implement curriculum within guidelines to support school-day success.
• Supervise children and activities.
• Maintain attendance and program records.
• Ensure safety and risk management of all students.
• Attend family nights, staff meetings, and training.
• Maintain site and equipment; clean and prepare classrooms.
• Collect data for daily reports.
