Communities in Schools of Southeast Harris and Brazoria County Inc is seeking an After School Activity Coordinator to support and enrich learning after the school day. You will help run activities in sports, STEM, robotics, coding, culinary arts, arts & crafts, and homework support for students.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 18 years old, and 6 months of experience with school-age children. CPR/First Aid/AED training will be provided as part of the job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 6 months of experience with school-age children preferred.
• Must be 18 years old.
• CPR, First Aid, AED certifications; training provided and required.
• Ability to plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities.

Responsabilités

• Create a positive, engaging, and fun learning environment for students and families.
• Guide children through lessons in sports, STEM, robotics, coding, culinary arts, and arts & crafts.
• Support homework completion and reinforce school day learning.
• Supervise children and ensure safe, organized classroom and activity spaces.
• Observe and evaluate student progress.
• Maintain program materials, classrooms, and equipment.
• Participate in family nights, staff meetings, trainings, and special events.
• Serve as a positive role model and help ensure student safety at all times.
