Job summary

Communities in Schools of Southeast Harris and Brazoria County Inc is seeking an After School Activity Coordinator to create a fun, engaging learning environment for students after school.

You’ll lead activities in sports, STEM, robotics, coding, culinary arts, arts and crafts while supporting homework and safety; hours are Monday–Friday, 2:30 pm–6:30 pm (20 hours/week) with a pay range of $12–$15 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 6 months experience with school-age children preferred.
• Ability to plan and implement age-appropriate activities.
• CPR/First Aid/AED training provided and required.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive, engaging, and fun learning environment for students and families.
• Guide children through lessons in sports, STEM, robotics, coding, culinary arts, and arts & crafts.
• Support homework completion and reinforce school day learning.
• Supervise children and ensure safe, organized classroom and activity spaces.
• Observe and evaluate student progress to help each child thrive.
• Maintain program materials, classrooms, and equipment.
• Participate in family nights, staff meetings, trainings, and special events.
• Serve as a positive role model and help ensure student safety at all times.
