Job summary

Communities in Schools of Southeast Harris and Brazoria County Inc. seeks an Activity Coordinator for its Alvin, TX after-school program. You will plan, coordinate, and facilitate engaging activities that promote growth, learning, and a safe, structured environment.

The position is part-time (20 hours per week) with hours 2:30 PM–6:30 PM, Monday through Friday, beginning the first week of August. CPR/First Aid training is provided and prior experience with children is preferred.

Qualifications

• Plan, organize, and implement age-appropriate activities.
• Supervise children and manage classroom behavior.
• Engage students through hands-on enrichment and recreation.
• Maintain attendance and program records, and report data.

Responsibilities

• Provides a positive learning environment for children, parents, and staff.
• Implements activities aligned with curriculum and goals to support school-day success.
• Supervises the children, classroom, and all activities.
• Delivers engaging lessons aligned with program objectives.
• Maintains program site, equipment, and cleanliness.
• Attends family nights, staff meetings, and trainings.
• Ensures timely completion of time entry and HR&P processes.
