Job summary

Crane Aerospace and Electronics is seeking a Part Time Administrative Assistant at our West Caldwell, NJ location. The role centers on supporting the Site Leader and cross-functional teams with calendars, meetings, travel logistics, and data reporting to drive Lean initiatives.

You'll work with manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, sales and marketing to streamline processes and sustain operational excellence in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of administrative support experience.
• 2–4 years using Lean tools.
• High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills; self-directed and able to work independently; proactive approach and comfort with change.
• Education/Certification: High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and maintain Outlook calendars for assigned group.
• Schedule internal and external meetings.
• Coordinate materials for meetings, appointments and presentations.
• Coordinate complex travel arrangements; organize multi-city travel schedules/itineraries, visas, passports.
• Compile, create and maintain reports, databases and charts using software applications.
• 5S auditing and improvements in the manufacturing and office areas.
• Support continuous improvement roadmaps including pre-work, Kaizen, and post-event follow-up.
