Job summary

Crane Aerospace and Electronics in West Caldwell, NJ is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead cross-functional teams from proposal through production readiness.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, schedule adherence, and cost control within ITAR-restricted aerospace programs. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of PM experience, a technical BS, and proven IPT coordination across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Program Management experience.
• BS degree in Engineering or technical discipline.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional team management.
• Experience with ITAR-controlled programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review proposals and change requests; lead bid package elements, ensuring compliance with technical, cost, and schedule requirements.
• Develop, monitor, and update detailed program plans, schedules, and resource needs to meet customer milestones.
• Lead Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) coordinating engineering, operations, and supply chain for manufacturable designs and cost targets.
• Serve as primary customer interface with regular communication, progress reviews, scope management, and formal change-control processes.
• Manage program cost, schedule, risks, and issues using standardized project management tools; drive mitigation actions and stakeholder alignment.
• Facilitate smooth transition from development to production and communicate program metrics.
