Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years Accounts Receivable experience.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• 2 years’ experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• 10-Key experience; proficient calculator/spreadsheet skills.
• Familiarity with accounting software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Post payments to the accounts receivable system.
• Communicate with customers regarding invoices and payments.
• Identify balances due for credit card and ACH payments.
• Reconcile accounts receivable subsystem daily.
• Sort and distribute incoming mail.
• Process outgoing payment collection support.
• Scan documents to archive memos and AR docs.
• Track expiring reseller permits for Foodservice and C-Store accounts.
• Assist with the preparation and distribution of customer statements.
• Switchboard relief.
• Maintain customer files, including correspondence and remittance information.
• Back-up other positions as needed.
• Special projects as assigned.
