Qualifications

• Previous accounts receivable (AR) experience required.

• Experience with cash applications, account reconciliations, and payment research.
• Ability to investigate discrepancies, prioritize tasks, and resolve issues independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications preferred.
• Ability to work independently while supporting the needs of the accounting team.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile accounts receivable aging reports and investigate discrepancies.
• Process cash applications and ensure customer payments are accurately recorded and applied.
• Research customer deductions, short payments, and outstanding receivables.
• Follow up on unresolved account issues and assist with payment collections as needed.
• Retrieve and review proof of delivery (POD) documentation to support payment research and dispute resolution.
• Navigate retailer portals, including Target, Walmart, and other retail customer platforms.
• Investigate payment discrepancies and collaborate with internal teams to resolve outstanding balances.
• Maintain accurate accounts receivable records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with additional accounting and administrative duties based on experience and business needs.

Schedule and Work Environment
