• Minimum 2 years Accounts Receivable experience.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• 2 years’ experience with MS Excel and Word.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong calculator/spreadsheet skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Post payments to the accounts receivable system.
• Communicate with customers regarding invoice and payment questions.
• Identify balances due for processing of credit card and ACH sweep payments.
• Reconcile accounts receivable daily.
• Sort and distribute incoming mail.
• Process outgoing payment collection support.
• Scan documents to archive credit memos and AR docs.
• Track expiring reseller permits for Foodservice and C-Store accounts.
• Assist with preparation and distribution of customer statements.
• Switchboard relief.
• Maintain customer files and remittance information.
• Back-up other positions as needed.
• Special projects as assigned.

Your Day-to-Day

• Post payments to the accounts receivable system.
• Communicate directly with customers regarding invoice and payment application questions.

• Track expiring reseller permits for all Foodservice and C-Store accounts.
• Assist with the preparation and distribution of customer statements.

• Maintain customer files, including correspondence and remittance information.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Minimum 2 years Accounts Receivable experience.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• 2 years’ experience working with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent calculator/computerized spreadsheet skills.
• Team player with a positive--'can do' approach.
• Familiarity with accounting software a plus.
• 10-Key experience.
• Strong communication skills.
