Contoro Robotics, based in Austin, TX, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Operations Intern (Part-Time) to support day-to-day financial operations across AP/AR, expense tracking, and project cost reporting.

The role collaborates with operations, deployment, leadership, and external accounting teams to maintain accurate records, manage expenses, and provide visibility into spending across customer deployments in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• Basic understanding of bookkeeping, AP/AR.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks preferred.
• Experience with Ramp is a plus.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while knowing when to elevate questions or issues.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) activities.
• Track vendor invoices, customer invoices, payments, and outstanding balances.
• Assist with invoice processing and ensure appropriate supporting documentation is maintained.
• Help follow up on outstanding invoices, missing documentation, and payment status.
• Assist with account reconciliations and maintaining accurate accounting records.
• Maintain and categorize company expenses in Ramp and QuickBooks.
• Review transactions and help ensure expenses are assigned to the appropriate account, department, vendor, or project.
• Assist with reviewing employee reimbursements and company expenses for appropriate documentation and coding.
• Identify missing receipts, documentation, or coding and follow up with employees as needed.
• Support month-end accounting preparation by keeping financial records organized and up to date.
