Qualifications

• Master’s in accounting or MBA with accounting concentration is required.
• Bachelor’s in business with accounting emphasis or economics with accounting emphasis plus a master's is expected.
• A valid California Community College Credential is required.
• Equivalency may be considered in lieu of formal credentials.

Responsibilities

• Organize and teach accounting classes such as Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Computerized Accounting, Applied Accounting, Tax Accounting and Cooperative Work Experience.
• Promote student success by assisting students to obtain certificates, degrees, transfer or employment in accounting.
• Work assignments in evenings and/or weekends and in varied instructional settings.
• Fulfill duties per Administrative Regulation 7122.

Education

Master’s in accounting or MBA with accounting concentration

Bachelor’s in business with accounting emphasis or economics with accounting emphasis

California Community College Credential

Equivalent education/experience
