Job summary

State Center Community College District is seeking an Accounting Instructor for Clovis Community College as part of the part‑time faculty pool. The instructor will teach on campus and may work at offsite locations, with duties including preparing courses, delivering lectures, and assessing student learning in accounting.

Qualifications

• Master’s in accountancy or MBA with accounting concentration is required.
• Bachelor’s in business with accounting emphasis or economics with accounting emphasis and a master’s in business or related field is required.
• A valid California Community College Credential is required.
• Equivalent education and/or experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Organize and teach accounting courses such as Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Computerized Accounting, Applied Accounting, Tax Accounting, and Cooperative Work Experience in Accounting.
• Promote student success by assisting students to obtain certificates, degrees, transfer or employment in accounting.
• Work assignments in various instructional settings and times, including evenings and/or weekends.
• Fulfill duties and responsibilities of instructors as required by Administrative Regulation 7122.
