Minimum qualifications include a Master’s in accounting or MBA with accounting, or a BS in business with accounting emphasis and related credentials, with equity-minded practice at the core of teaching and service.

Qualifications

• Evidence of responsiveness to diverse student backgrounds and commitment to equity-minded teaching.
• Master’s in accounting or MBA with accounting; or BS in business with accounting emphasis and MBA in related field.
• Valid California Community College Credential; or the equivalence pathway.
• Equivalency process may be required.

Responsibilities

• Teach accounting courses in multiple formats (face-to-face, online, hybrid).
• Provide course syllabi, maintain records, and evaluate student progress.
• Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
• Adhere to approved curriculum outlines and department policies.
• Fulfill all duties as assigned by the department.
