Fresno City College is seeking to build a pool of Economics Instructors for part-time teaching slots. The role involves delivering Introductory Economics courses across formats and maintaining course materials and records.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate equity-minded practice, experience with diverse student populations, and the ability to collaborate with faculty and staff to support student success.

Qualifications

• Master’s in economics or equivalent credentials.
• Bachelor’s in economics and a relevant Master’s degree in business, finance or political science.
• Valid California Community College Credential.
• Equivalency may be accepted with matching experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach a part-time schedule of Introductory Economics courses as assigned.
• Deliver instruction in face-to-face, online, and/or hybrid formats.
• Communicate effectively with students, faculty and staff.
• Adhere to approved curriculum outlines and course objectives.
• Evaluate student progress with tests, assignments and exams; provide timely grading.
• Provide course syllabi and maintain classroom records per district policy.
• Fulfill duties as required by Administrative Regulation 7122 and other responsibilities.
