Job summary

Allied Universal in Kansas City, KS is seeking a part-time Security Officer (Access Control) to safeguard clients across industries including logistics and distribution. The role requires staying on site with a part-time schedule and a focus on flexible shifts, safety, and integrity in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for entrants according to site procedures.
• Maintain visitor, vehicle, and delivery records and report access concerns to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents calmly and solve problems as they arise.
• Conduct regular patrols of access areas, loading docks, and facility perimeter.
