Job summary

Allied Universal in Olathe, KS is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer to safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution site. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, and maintain a visible security presence while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel while enforcing site access control procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain entry records, and direct authorized individuals.
• Respond calmly to access control concerns and incidents following reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of entrances, gates, parking areas, yards, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Document daily activities and incidents accurately per site procedures.
