Job summary

Allied Universal, Lenexa, KS, is seeking a part-time Security Officer (Access Control) to manage entry points, verify credentials, and monitor activity at a logistics and distribution site. You will use computer or tablet systems to document activity, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns.

The role offers a part-time schedule with day and night shifts, a pay rate of $18.75 per hour, and opportunities to claim additional shifts through our Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check may be conducted as a condition of employment.

• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors and delivery drivers by following security procedures.
• Control access to the facility by verifying credentials and maintaining access records.
• Monitor vehicle traffic and coordinate with shipping/receiving personnel.
• Respond to incidents and security-related concerns following site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
