Allied Universal in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Authorization Verification to join our team. You will be the visible presence at entry points, verify access, assist visitors, and support operations with professional communication.

This role offers Saturday and Sunday shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at a manufacturing and industrial site. The pay rate is $15.00 per hour, and you will gain experience with access-control procedures, incident response, and reliable teamwork

Qualifications

• Requires at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21+ for armed roles).
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Licensing may be required per state laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry/exit points and verify credentials.
• Screen visitors and deliveries and direct to locations.
• Respond calmly to alarms and incidents; document observations.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points and grounds.
