Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Entry Credential Desk in Lakeland, FL. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and maintain a visible presence to deter security issues while providing friendly, professional service to employees, visitors, and vendors.

This part-time position requires at least one year of security-related experience, a high school diploma, background screening, and a drug test.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to facilities, including verifying credentials, processing authorized visitors, and documenting entry and exit activity.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to identify unauthorized access and security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate access logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
