Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Credential Review in Lakeland, FL. You will monitor access, provide customer service, and deter security incidents while supporting a welcoming environment.

The position offers a part-time schedule with shifts including Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, and Sat 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM, with the opportunity to explore new roles via the Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifications

At least one year of security-related experience.
Guard card or license preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background check as required by law.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply.
Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by enforcing site-specific security procedures and access-control policies.
Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials and maintaining logs.
Screen vehicles, deliveries, and personnel per site requirements and escalate discrepancies.
Respond to incidents calmly and notify site contacts and leadership as needed.
Conduct regular patrols of access points and exterior areas to identify unusual activity and support policy compliance.
