Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• TWIC credential issued by TSA is required or desired.
• Guard card/licence is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Age: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted.
• Driver's license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, contractors, and employees while enforcing site-specific security procedures.
• Monitor and control access to the marine terminal by verifying identification, credentials, and authorization.
• Maintain access logs and communicate entry/exit information according to procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and report security concerns promptly.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, vehicle staging areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
