Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer – Access Control Driver in Kernersville, NC. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, assist clients, and drive to locations as needed while maintaining high service standards.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, logging activities, and ensuring safety with a professional, customer-focused approach. Valid driver’s license, background checks, and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A background check and drug screen are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following site protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing areas, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized personnel and visitors, and report unusual activity.
• Complete required reports and maintain activity logs for leadership.
