Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Badge Control) for a government location in Marion, NC. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and provide professional customer service as part of a responsive security team.

Applicants should be 18+ for unarmed roles and 21+ for armed roles, with a high school diploma and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening. A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, contractors, and the public while enforcing site access control procedures.
• Verify identification, authorizations, and visitor credentials at government location access points.
• Maintain access logs, visitor records, and incident reports as required by site procedures.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and security concerns; notify appropriate personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular patrols of entrances, exits, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
