Qualifications

Responsibilities

As a Security Officer Access Control Operator Driver in Saint Pauls, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a food processing location, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document access activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Screen and direct incoming visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel to appropriate check-in locations while maintaining accurate logs and required documentation.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters through established channels as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
