Qualifications

• Completion of core for a two year Associates Degree in Data Processing or equivalent.
• 1 year experience with personal computers required.
• 1 year of supervision experience in a computing environment required.
• Demonstrated organizational and computer problem solving skills required.
• Working knowledge of Windows, Mac OS, and microcomputer applications required.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English required.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate student lab aides.
• Maintain lab facilities (hardware, software, printing, classroom equipment).
• Provide day-to-day support for instructors and students in labs.
• Prepare lab-related documents and usage reports; track statistics.
• Coordinate installation and maintenance of computer hardware and software.
• Respond to Help Desk service requests and resolve software/hardware issues.
• Provide faculty/staff training on equipment use and lab policies.
• Develop technical and procedural documentation for labs.
