Job summary

The Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD) is looking for an Assistant Supervisor PT in Palm Desert, CA to supervise therapy teams and directly treat patients when needed. You will work onsite in diverse settings, ensure ABA data collection, and support clinical supervisors with program design.

This role requires strong communication, training ability, and adherence to privacy standards. Qualifications include BCAT or RBT (within 90 days), a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Qualifications

• BCAT or RBT credential to be obtained within 90 days from start date.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 12 ABA units and 1 year experience OR 2 years experience with a BA/BS OR a Master’s with applicable experience.
• Experience in designing and/or implementing behavior modification interventions.
• English proficiency, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Supervise cases and Behavior Technicians under CARD Clinical Supervisor.
• Provide clinical feedback through training, meetings, and data review.
• Report patient progress to Clinical Supervisors and assist with action plans.
• Conduct caregiver collaboration meetings and assist with FBAs and BIPs.
• Assist in training new staff and provide direct treatment when needed.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance across settings.
• Attend required trainings and meetings.
