Job summary

ABA Centers of Connecticut is hiring part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and Behavior Technician (BT) staff to deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, and community settings across Hartford, New Britain, Rocky Hill and Middletown, CT.

Starting pay is $22.25/hour for BT and $24.60/hour for RBT, with final compensation based on experience and education. Paid training, mentorship, and a clear path for advancement are provided, including ABA Academy support for RBT exam prep.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months of relevant experience (including internships or related roles).
• Availability during mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other venues depending on client needs.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Track progress and maintain quality.
• Collect, organize, and document session data accurately.
• Work closely with BCBAs, team members, and families.
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training.
• Assist with administrative and clinical support tasks as needed.
